DESCRIPTION:\u00a0 Add a new skill to your DIY repertoire\u2026 come learn how to decoupage with our collection of beautiful papers to transform an old framed picture into a customized one-of-a kind decorative serving tray. Bring in an old rectangular<\/strong> wall picture frame\/framed wall art with glass and we\u2019ll show you how to completely transform it and re-purpose it as a beautiful one-of-a-kind serving tray. Ideal size is 11×17<\/strong>, but the dimensions could vary; however, please limit max dimension on long side to 17\u201d<\/strong>. Remove the current art\/picture and matting keeping the glass, which should also be thoroughly cleaned. If you don’t have a picture frame with glass, we can provide you a cabinet door to repurpose into a tray. It just won’t have the glass.<\/p>\n

SPECIFIC TECHNIQUES COVERED IN THIS WORKSHOP<\/p>\n

• Applying decoupage medium with your choice of decoupage paper (choose from 12 different designs- Christmas and multiple botanical designs)<\/li>\n
• \u201corganically\u201d tearing edges and inking edges to give authentic vintage aged look, if desired<\/li>\n
• Painting techniques to customize frame color<\/li>\n
• Sanding and sealing (wax or topcoat)<\/li>\n
• Applying hardware<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  WHAT IS PROVIDED IN THE COST OF THE WORKSHOP: *<\/p>\n

  • Paint, finishing products and stencils (if desired) from our production stock<\/li>\n
  • Hardware to use as handles<\/li>\n
  • All supplies \/ tools from our production stock to use during the allotted time of the workshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Come and join in the fun. You will walk out of the workshop with a beautiful completed project that you can take home to enjoy or give as a gift.<\/p>\n

    * If you would like to use products not offered as part of our production stock that we provide for use during the workshop for your project, or if you just want to stock up on additional products to take home with you, attendees are always offered a special 10% discount<\/strong> during the workshop event <\/u><\/strong>on all consumable products and supplies (paints, painting supplies, finishing products, embellishments, stencils, etc.)<\/em><\/p>\n

    WORKSHOP GUIDELINES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • ADVANCED REGISTRATION REQUIRED. To ensure proper preparation and setup for all attendees, we kindly ask for at least 24 hrs. advance registration. All attendees of the workshop in the studio must purchase a ticket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Workstation\/supply selections are available on a first-come-first served basis so be sure to arrive with plenty of time to choose your seat\/supplies and to browse our showroom before class starts.<\/li>\n
      • Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time. Please plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes before class starts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and beverages. (If BYOB \u2013 Beer\/wine only- no hard alcohol)<\/li>\n
        • This workshop is ideally designed for adults, but we can accommodate ages 12 and up.<\/li>\n
        • If a child 12 or older will be participating in the workshop, each child must also purchase a spot for the workshop and must be accompanied by a paying adult workshop attendee.<\/li>\n
