\nThis hands-on workshop will give an introductory overview and allow you to work with several different paints, all in one class,<\/strong> so you can choose your new favorite for your next DIY project. Then, look for additional workshop offerings after attending this introductory overview, that focus on a specific paint type for a more in-depth coverage and instruction to further your DIY skills.<\/p>\n

* If you\u2019d like to experience the \u201cother type of craft flight craze,\u201d feel free to BYOB! Bring your favorite \u201ccraft\u201d beverage to enjoy during the workshop, order a pizza or takeout and bring it along … whatever you like! We\u2019ll provide snacks as well!<\/em><\/p>\n

• Differences between clay, chalk, milk and texture paint and which are best for certain projects, surfaces or specific looks \u2013 What are they? Why are they popular choices for furniture and DIY painting projects?<\/li>\n
• Finishing\/protective methods<\/li>\n
• Product preparation (for milk paint) \u2013 practice mixing and preparing for proper consistency<\/li>\n
• Proper storage and shelf life<\/li>\n
• Which can be wet distressed and which can\u2019t, and how to do so\u2026And much, much more!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • Variety of surfaces\/items to utilize as your painting surface<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • ADVANCED REGISTRATION REQUIRED. To ensure proper preparation and setup for all attendees, we kindly ask for at least 24 hrs. advance registration. All attendees of the workshop in the studio must purchase a ticket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Workstation\/supply selections are available on a first-come-first served basis so be sure to arrive with plenty of time to choose your seat\/supplies and to browse our showroom before class starts.<\/li>\n
      • Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time. Please plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes before class starts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
