DESCRIPTION:\u00a0 Create a trio of painted clay flowerpots to adorn your home or patio.<\/p>\n

Bring in a set of three (3) of your clay pots.\u00a0 They can be all the same size or 3 different sizes; however, due to limited workshop space, please limit the diameter to 8\u201d or less.<\/u><\/strong> \u00a0 This workshop will teach you to work with textures, glazes, waxes and specialty products.<\/p>\n

SPECIFIC TECHIQUES COVERED IN THIS WORKSHOP:<\/p>\n

• Using Perfect Plaster to create texture<\/li>\n
• Glazing to produce color change<\/li>\n
• Layering paints<\/li>\n
• Wet Distressing<\/li>\n
• Using transfers to decorate pots<\/li>\n
• Basic stenciling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  You will walk out of the workshop with 3 of the clay pots you brought from home completely transformed from drab clay pots to works of art that will match your home d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n

If you would like to take any additional products home with you that are not already included in the cost of the workshop there is a BONUS: All workshop attendees will receive a 10% discount during the workshop event on any consumable products (paints, painting supplies and embellishments<\/u><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

  WORKSHOP GUIDELINES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • ADVANCED REGISTRATION REQUIRED. To ensure proper preparation and setup for all attendees, we kindly ask for at least 24 hrs. advanced registration. All attendees of the workshop in the studio must purchase a ticket.<\/li>\n
  • This workshop is ideally designed for adults but we can accommodate ages 12 and up. Though the products we use and carry in our shop are environmentally safe and non-toxic, it\u2019s not a child-proofed environment for young children in the workshop\/studio. (We have lots of spare parts\/tools\/hardware that wouldn\u2019t be safe in little hands.)<\/li>\n
  • If a child 12 or older will be participating in the workshop, each child must also purchase a spot for the workshop and must be accompanied by an adult workshop attendee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
