  **NOTE:<\/u>\u00a0 Special embellishments (aged papers, transfers, stencils, appliques, metallic paints, foils, leafing, etc.) are not included in the cost of this workshop. <\/strong><\/p>\n

  DESCRIPTION:\u00a0 Attendees pick the project!\u00a0 Bring in your own piece to paint\u2026. a piece that is portable, small and light enough for you to carry through our door without assistance.<\/u>\u00a0 End tables, nightstands, occasional tables, chairs and small benches work well for this workshop.\u00a0 If your project is larger you might consider bringing in a part of the piece to complete in our studio\u2026 (i.e. drawers from a dresser or even a couple kitchen cabinet doors you could complete as a sample for a kitchen makeover).\u00a0 If you are unsure whether your project qualifies, follow these guidelines:<\/p>\n

  1. Place your piece on the floor and measure the amount of space the piece occupies. The most desirable footprint is 20\u201d x 36\u201d (or less).<\/li>\n
  2. You must be able to comfortably carry the piece into our studio with no assistance.<\/u><\/strong> The piece must easily fit through our front door.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     THINGS YOU CAN DO TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL WORKSHOP:<\/strong><\/p>\n

     1. Our studio space is limited so please follow the guidelines for size\/weight of your piece to ensure all attendees have adequate space to work comfortably.<\/li>\n
     2. We can provide you with cleaning materials; however, to ensure a beautiful finished project in the time provided, we request you clean your piece at home at least 24 hours prior to class. This will provide a clean and thoroughly dried piece to begin painting.\u00a0 In order to properly clean your piece, spray it thoroughly with Simple Green.\u00a0 Use a ScotchBrite scrubby pad\/sponge and scrub your surface.\u00a0 Rinse thoroughly and let dry.<\/li>\n
     3. There are so many colors from which to choose\u2026\u2026 It would be helpful if you arrive with some idea of the colors and finishes you wish to use. Looking through magazines and browsing the internet may help give you inspiration on the colors and look you want to achieve for your piece.\u00a0 Spending too much valuable workshop time choosing colors\/finishes will subtract from the time you have available to jump in and start painting.\u00a0 We want you to leave us with a beautifully finished product so use your time wisely!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        So, come and join in the fun while learning valuable skills.\u00a0 If you would like to take home any additional products that were not included in the cost of this workshop there is a BONUS: All workshop attendees will receive a 10% discount during the workshop event on any consumable products (paints, painting supplies and embellishments).<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

        WORKSHOP GUIDELINES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • ADVANCED REGISTRATION REQUIRED. To ensure proper preparation and setup for all attendees, we kindly ask for at least 24 hrs. advanced registration. All attendees of the workshop in the studio must purchase a ticket.<\/li>\n
        • This workshop is ideally designed for adults but we can accommodate ages 12 and up. Though the products we use and carry in our shop are environmentally safe and non-toxic, it\u2019s not a child-proofed environment for young children in the workshop\/studio. (We have lots of spare parts\/tools\/hardware that wouldn\u2019t be safe in little hands.)<\/li>\n
        • If a child 12 or older will be participating in the workshop, each child must also purchase a spot for the workshop and must be accompanied by an adult workshop attendee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
